ABOUT ABOUT

This is a FULL day program offered on four dates.

The Connecticut Region 1 Active Shooter/Hostile Event Response - TECC Course is based on the Principles of Guidelines provided by the Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (C-TECC) and meets the goals & objectives outlined by the Education & Training Committee of the CT EMS Advisory Board for medical response during dynamic incidents.

This program provides foundational response & medical care education during dynamic incidents for public safety personnel (Police, EMS, Fire, Public Safety, and hospital E/D staff), including the principles of Rescue Task Force (RTF) operations.

Funding for the ASHE/TECC Course is made possible by the Connecticut DESPP/DEMHS Region 1 Emergency Planning Team.
